====== Suggest a simpler data binding API ======

Over on Kai's blog, he describes how to [[http://toedter.com/blog/?p=36|implement data validation decorators using JFace Data Binding]].  In the comments, a whole lot of people complained that because the data binding API is very general, it does not yield code that is very [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intentional_programming|intentional]].

So as one of the original architects of Eclipse Data Binding, I'm curious: What would you like to see?  Please comment.
